The law firm Ortner & Ortner is a result of the office of Dr. Julian Stadlinger, which was founded in 1850. This office was the first law office in the Austrian Salzkammergut and is located since 1850 in the historic building Kirchengasse 6 in Gmunden. The office is one of the oldest, still existing law offices in Austria and has been an original location for Austrian film productions, such as the TV series "Schloss Hotel Orth" and several productions of a well-known Austrian director. In 1967 Dr. Heinz Ortner took over the office and handed it over to his sons Mag. Alexander Ortner and Mag. Philipp Ortner (LL.M Athen) in 2000 and 2007. Since then the office has been run successfully by the two sons as a family business.
